step 1. free talk

1 先和学生自由交谈,问问学生有关年龄和爱好等方面信息。

t: i’m your english teacher. do you want to know more about me? ok. at first i’ll introduce myself to you.look, my english name is june. my favourite colour is blue. my favourite fruitare strawberries. in my family, there three people, my husband, my son and i.and in my spare time i like reading books and making friends.

t-s1: do you like readingbooks and making friends ,too?

yes, i do.

oh, we both have the same hobbies. i thinkwe can be good friends, right?

(2)带读句子

1.t: now you know my hobbies. and look, my e-mailaddress iscandy@126.com. do you know e-mailaddress?(电子邮箱地址)

(1)try to read it “address ”.

(2)带读 e-mail address 分组读

3. t: now you know me somuch. today i want to be your friend. do you want to be my friends, too? ss:yes, i do.

4. t: now you are my newfriends. i take something for you. what are these? look!

(2) some writing paper 一些信纸 带读

(3)if you want to write a letter to me, what do you need? 引导学生回答: an envelope,some writing paper. and a stamp.

t: yes, i want you to writea letter. but not now. now liu tao wants to write a letter too.

(1)听全篇课文,回答两个问题。

(3)听课文的引言,完成填空:

(1) now mum know somethingabout peter. what is liu tao going to tell peter? what’s mum’s advice. let’s goon reading.

step 4 consolidation : makepenfriends

t: (出示几份其他学校学生的信,可以与其他班级之间交换使用)you did a very good job. doyou remember the envelopes and writing paper which i bring here today? that’sfor you. there is one letter in each envelope. the letters are from somestudents. they want to make penfriends with you.

1. i’ll give you the letter. i hope you can like it. and there is apresent in each envelope. at first open it and read the letter.

2. then talk to your partner about your new friend.
